Deji of Akure urges youths not to sell their votes and aims for high offices

  The Deji of Akure  kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun 11  has urged  youths  in the country not to sell their vote during the coming elections but should vote for the candidate of their choice and also ensure that they participate actively even for elective positions.

The monarch said saying anybody can run for elective position in today Nigeria including those gunning for the presidency, reason why they should not allow themselves to be pushed around.

He disclosed this during a visit of the leaders of the Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party (ANRP) to his palace at the weekend

The National Chairman of the party, Mr.  Kolade Fasua, who declared  his intention to run for the 2019 presidential election in Nigeria, said their cardinal program me is to eradicate poverty .

He said suffering is too much in the country, even in Africa. We are suffering in the midst of plenty. We are nation builders and God sent, so the country has to move forward. We are going to modernize the rural area because our agenda is divine intervention.” he said 

Earlier, the State Chairman of the party, Mr Dele Ogunrinde,  has said  that the party has the largest youth population of about 95 per cent  and the party believes in respect and intend to eradicate poverty in the land.

“We are going to work hard to lift people out of poverty, with a lot of men of integrity and talents among our dear party.”

He however, urged  youths not to sell their votes promising  that they would be carried along by the party.
