Deji directs traditional ruler to key into Akure development plan

Deji of Akureland, Oba Aladelusi Aladetoyinbo
As part of efforts to turn Akure to a modern city,  the Deji of Akureland, Oba Aladelusi Aladetoyinbo, has called for the development of lands and properties in communities around the capital city of Ondo state.

To this end, the traditional head of Olokuta community in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State, the Olu of Olokuta, Chief Olatunbosun Miller,  has called on landowners and farmers in the area to show evidence of ownership of their lands.

Miller said the verification became imperative in order to intimate landowners on steps taken by the community heads to develop their domains.

He said the effort was to complement Governor Rotimi Akeredolu’s strides in turning Akure to a mega city and wade off undesirable elements who have been extorting money from unsuspecting landowners.
