Ondo Govt Reacts To Anglican’s Plans To Take Over Two Popular Schools In Akure
The Ondo state government has endorsed plans by Anglican Church to take over famous Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure and Fiwasaye Girls’ Grammar school, on Monday 17th October, 2022 reported the efforts being made by the Anglican Church in Ondo state to take over the schools as confirmed by Most Reverend Simeon Borokini, the Anglican Bishop of Akure Diocese and Archbishop of Ondo Ecclesiastical province. Reacting, the commissioner for education and science and technology, Femi Agagu in an interview said the state government was ready to return public schools to missions showing interest.
